Connected Differently Media ("we," "us," "our") runs this website. This page explains, in plain English, what information we collect, how we use it, and who else handles it.

Information you provide to us

If you submit the form, we collect your name, business name, email address, and the type of help you need. You may also provide a phone number, current website, project notes, and how you heard about us. We use this information to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, to prepare a quote and deliver your project. We don't sell this information.

How you found us

We note how you found us: the website or link that sent you (without any extra tracking codes in that link), the first page you landed on, the last of our main buttons you clicked, and any campaign label in the link (for example, "newsletter"). This note is kept in your browser only while the tab is open, and it's included with a form submission if you send one. This stored note itself isn't passed to GA4 or used to build an advertising profile; Google's separate analytics collection is described below.

Analytics

On our production domain, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand visits and actions such as viewing our services, clicking a contact link, or successfully submitting an inquiry. The Google tag loads automatically on that domain and can set analytics cookies. Google receives information such as the pages visited, browser and device details, referral information, and interactions. We don't send the name, email address, phone number, business name, or notes you type in our inquiry form to GA4. Analytics is disabled on our staging preview and local development sites. Like any website host, Cloudflare also processes technical information, such as your IP address and the page requested, to deliver and protect the site.

No ad tracking

We don't run paid ads and don't use any advertising pixels, retargeting scripts, or ad networks on this site.

How we use your information

We use what you send us to respond to your inquiry, prepare a written quote, and — if you hire us — build and maintain your site.

Who else handles it

When you press Send, our website passes your message to Resend, an email-delivery service, which emails it to our inbox. Resend handles it under its own privacy policy and data processing agreement. We don't control how long Resend keeps delivery data, and we use it only to get your message to us. We don't keep a separate database of submissions.

  • Cloudflare hosts the website and handles form requests and basic technical information, such as your IP address.
  • Resend delivers the form details, including the note about how you found us, by email, as described above.
  • Google provides GA4 on the production domain and Google Workspace for our business inbox, where delivered inquiries and later emails are stored.

Fonts are served from this website. On the production domain, the analytics tag loads from Google and sends analytics data to Google under its own privacy policy.

If the form doesn't send

We don't keep a separate submission database or fallback queue. If sending fails or delivery can't be confirmed, your entries stay on the page so you can try again or contact us directly. The email service may already have received the message, even when delivery can't be confirmed. Please don't send passwords, payment details, sensitive documents or other sensitive account details through this form. If a project needs anything like that later, we'll agree on a safer way to share it.

How long we keep inquiries

If you send an inquiry through our form but don't become a client, we review inquiries by hand each month and delete yours at the first review after 12 months have passed since our last meaningful contact. Records we need for clients, contracts or accounting are kept separately for as long as those obligations, or a legal reason such as a dispute, require. Copies held by our email-delivery service and our providers' backups expire on those providers' own schedules, which we don't control.

Data security

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information you send us. No website can guarantee perfect security, but if a breach affecting your sensitive personal information were ever to occur, we'll notify you as required under Texas law.

Your choices

You can ask at any time what information we have on file for you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We'll confirm the request comes from you, for example by replying to the email address you used, before sharing or deleting anything. If we're required to keep something, such as an invoice, we'll tell you what we kept and why. Copies in our providers' logs or backups expire on their own schedules.

On the production domain, GA4 can set analytics cookies. You can block or clear cookies in your browser, or use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Blocking analytics does not stop you using our site or inquiry form. Separately, the short note about how you found us is stored only for the tab session, as described above.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for business owners evaluating web design and marketing services, not children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make a meaningful change, such as changing the services that handle your information, we'll update this page before the change takes effect and change the "Last updated" date.
