Questions people actually ask.
How much does a website cost?
Builds start at $2,500 for Starter (up to 5 pages), $4,500 for Standard (up to 10 pages), $6,500 for Signature (up to 15 pages) and $8,500 for Advanced, which is scoped individually. Those are starting points: your quote depends on the design, content, functionality and any work needed to move your existing website, and we agree on the scope and price before work begins — see Services & Pricing for what each option includes.
Do I own my website?
Yes. Once your build is paid for, your domain, your site and your content are yours outright, whether or not you keep a monthly plan. If you ever cancel, the site and its files are yours to take elsewhere: offboarding includes your complete site as a zip file, a site-specific guide to setup, editing, publishing and backups, help moving domain/DNS settings, and removing our account access. Editing files may require technical help; a dashboard and its training are separately scoped and priced.
What's the monthly plan actually for?
Hosting, security, backups, uptime monitoring and ongoing local search work — the upkeep most business owners can't or don't want to do themselves. The higher plan also includes your ongoing content updates. Either way it's a service fee, not a condition of ownership.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. Month-to-month after launch, cancel any time with 30 days' notice, no early-cancellation fee.
Do I have to sign up for a monthly plan?
No. Monthly support is optional. Once your build is paid for, you can host the site elsewhere or have us look after it. Website Upkeep & SEO is $750/month; Website Upkeep, SEO & Updates is $1,200/month and also includes your content updates.
How does payment work?
Builds are billed half to start and half at launch; the first half is refundable until we start work. Monthly plans are billed in advance on the 1st of each month, with your first month pro-rated. Texas sales tax is added to taxable services where it applies, and any third-party software fees your project needs are passed through at cost.
Can you guarantee I'll rank first on Google?
No, and be wary of anyone who does. We build fast, search-friendly sites and actively manage your local search presence on either monthly plan, but rankings, traffic and leads also depend on your market, your competitors and changes Google makes on its own.
What does the free website check actually include?
Brad reviews your homepage and agreed key service, about and contact pages as a prospective customer would. He checks whether the offer is clear, the design and evidence earn trust, customer questions are answered, and navigation and inquiry paths help people decide. Mobile, accessibility and search checks support the manual review, with a Google PageSpeed measurement where available. You receive strengths, weaknesses, prioritized improvements and what to preserve and maintain, with evidence and limits explained. It isn't a guarantee of sales, rankings or form delivery, and private account data needs separate access. There's no charge or obligation.
I don't have a website at all yet. Where do I start?
That's a normal place to start. There's nothing to check yet, so we skip straight to a conversation about what your business does, who your customers are, and what the site needs to do. You get a written quote against the same published prices as everyone else.
What areas do you serve?
We work mainly with businesses in Katy and Greater Houston. If you're farther out, ask, and we'll tell you straight whether we're a good fit.
Do you handle photography?
No — photos come from you. We build the site from what you send.
Do you run paid ads?
No. We don't currently offer paid ad management.
What if I need more edits than my monthly plan covers?
It depends on your plan. On Website Upkeep, SEO & Updates ($1,200/month), changes within your existing pages — text, prices, hours, contact details, photos, links and documents — are included: send as many requests as you like and we work through them one at a time. On Website Upkeep & SEO ($750/month), content changes are quoted as they come up, or you can add Content Updates for $450/month. On either plan, new pages, new features, major design changes and bulk catalog work are quoted separately, and we agree the scope and price before anything starts.
How long will my website take to build?
Your quote sets the schedule and identifies what we need to start each stage. We can build with clearly marked placeholders where practical, so you don't need every piece of content ready on day one. Complexity and client reviews affect timing. Work pauses only when missing materials prevent meaningful progress; all placeholders are replaced before launch.
What happens if my project pauses for missing materials?
We'll confirm the pause and missing materials in writing. From that notice date, we send a reminder at 30 calendar days and close the project at 45 days if materials needed for meaningful progress are still missing. Closure before launch doesn't make the final payment due; if the site has launched, that payment remains due. Until full payment, site work files not already delivered remain with us; you keep anything already delivered and your own supplied materials. Returning requires a new quote at current rates and a new deposit. Prior payments don't transfer as credit, subject to the existing refund terms. The new quote prices the work still needed, taking usable completed work into account. Payment stays half to start and half at launch.
Can I edit my own website?
Changes go through us during the build and while we manage the site under a monthly plan. After offboarding without a monthly agreement, you can edit the site yourself or use another provider. We supply the files and a site-specific guide, but file editing may require technical knowledge. A login-based editing dashboard and its training are available only when separately scoped and priced.
How quickly do you handle support and updates?
On a monthly plan, we acknowledge support requests within 24 hours, seven days a week. We schedule problems by severity; outages and broken inquiry forms take priority over cosmetic issues. That is an acknowledgment commitment, not a 24-hour resolution promise. Routine small edits are normally completed within three business days after we receive the materials and any required approval. Business days are Monday through Friday. Larger requests get an agreed scope and completion date; work outside your plan is quoted for approval.
What will my monthly report show?
Work completed, measured changes, outstanding issues and next priorities, with each metric explained. Phone-link clicks aren't connected calls. Where configured, accepted form submissions record the site's success response, not confirmed inbox delivery or qualified opportunities. We don't promise rankings, traffic or sales.
How do I get started?
If you already have a site, start with a free website check — we look at your current site and tell you specifically what we found. If you don't, we start with a conversation about your business. Either way, you then get a written quote for the build and any monthly plan you choose, nothing is billed until you approve it, and you review everything before it goes live.
